Pierre Lectureship

Soil Science Program at Iowa State University

This lectureship was established to honor Dr. William H. Pierre, a pioneering soil sceintist at Iowa State University from 1938 until his death in 1982. Each year, a nationally known soil scientist is invited to the ISU campus to deliver the Pierre Lectureship.
