* For each project, a fixed number of explant materials are infected with construct provided by customer. Typical yield of a project ranges from 5-10 independent transgenic events (or lines) with an average of 7-8 events. Product Description

Plantlet

Bialaphos resistant plantlets rooted in a Petri dish containing regeneration medium. Typically, 2-4 plants per event are sent to customer at the completion of the project.

Seed

Seed from Bialaphos resistant plants are sent to customer at the completion of the project.

Callus

Bialaphos resistant callus cultures. Each infection yields 15 Bialaphos resistant callus events of which most will contain your gene of interest.


We strive to provide the best possible products and services that we can achieve. However, there are unforeseen circumstances that are beyond our control that may prevent us from achieving a desired outcome. For example, a construct that contains genes that interfere with plant regeneration. Unfortunately, we do not know that such a construct exists until after processing several steps in to the project. If the facility determines that a transgenic event will not occur and that the project is unsuccessful, the project will be terminated after consultation with the customer and a fee will be assessed based on the percentage of work completed.
